Life certificates for overseas pensions
The yearly declaration that keeps your overseas pension paid.
Why pension funds ask
If you receive a pension from another country while living in Australia, the pension authority will probably ask you, often every year, to confirm that you are alive and still entitled to payments. Missing the deadline can mean the pension is suspended.
What we do
We witness your signature on the form, or take your declaration, and complete the certification the form asks for, with a notarial certificate where needed.
Check who may sign your form
Pension authorities differ: each uses its own form and decides for itself who may certify it. Many accept certification by a notary public, and some accept other people. Read the instructions that came with the form, or ask the pension authority.
Polish pensions: ZUS and KRUS
Once every calendar year, ZUS requires pensioners who live outside Poland to confirm they are still entitled to the pension. It accepts a signature certified by someone authorised to do so in the pensioner’s country of residence. KRUS sends its own form. Radek can take you through either form in Polish.
